"Tortue" is our young new pride & joy at the homestead. Coming down from intense old herding lines that are difficult to find outside of French, we are thrilled to work with his breeder in bringing him to America to work livestock and contribute to the gene pool here. Already before arriving he has been exposed to multiple different types of fowl as well as sheep, all of which he shows promise in. He was evaluated at the American Journée in 2022 by Judge Alain Thevenon and received a Très Prometteur rating. We recently have seen him back on ducks and the natural balancing ability of this dog is truly something to behold. Tortue becomes not only stronger on livestock as time grows in such a positive fashion but he also becomes more of a joy to be around no matter who encounters him.
